5 jalapenos
5 oz cream cheese, softened
5 slices of thick cut bacon
¼ c cheddar cheese
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
Pinch of ground red pepper

Preheat your oven to 400F.
Cut jalapenos in half lengthwise and remove the stems.
Remove the membranes with a spoon, save about a tsp of the membrane (optional).
Finely chop the reserved membrane and put it in a medium size mixing bowl.
Add your cream cheese, cheddar cheese, red pepper, black pepper, and salt to the bowl, combine with a fork.
Fill each jalapeno halve with cream cheese mixture.
Cut bacon slices in half. Wrap each jalapeno with a ½ piece of bacon, secure with toothpick.
Place jalapenos on a tin foil lined baking sheet. Bake at 400F for 20-25 minutes.
